Automation/Control Systems Engineer with PE (Lafayette, LA)

We believe that systems integration is a fundamental component to leveraging new and well-established technologies against operational problems that exists within the Upstream, Midstream and Downstream Oil and Gas Sector. Our objective is to be a trusted service provider capable of integrating our clients Control Systems, Industrial Networks, SCADA Systems, Decision Support Systems and integrating the Real-Time and Custody Transfer Data into the Enterprise.
Complete Control System project experience start to finish.
Able to read and understand P&ID’s.
Able to read and understand Cause and Effect Diagrams.
Be able to generate PLC programs from Control Narrative.
Be able to generate PLC program from C&E and P&ID only.
Be able to create PLC program from scratch.
Be able to troubleshoot and understand existing PLC programs.
Background and understanding in Instrumentation and Low Voltage Electrical Systems.
Background and understanding in Pipeline or Water Management Processes.
Understanding of PLCs, Flow computers and interfacing these devices to one another.
Able to work with Corporate Engineering team to design, implement or modify PLC Programs for the purposes of standardization.
Able to understand how changes to the process impact Control System programming and be able to clearly communicate and work with Corporate Engineering to solve problems.
Understands and will follow MOC processes to insure proper PLC Program updates and changes.
Able to work with Corporate SCADA team to insure collection and validating of commands and data within SCADA.
Proficient with Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC Platform.

Must be able to take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.
Must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
