Business Development (Houston, TX)


The Integration Group of Americas, Inc. (TIGA) is hiring a well-respected, competent and professional Business Development Executive that will work with Management and Executives to propel TIGA to the next level.

  • Promote business development opportunities and maintain consistent sales growth by continuously establishing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts in the Oil & Gas segment.
  • Act as Sales, Business development & marketing representative for existing key accounts
  • Qualifying, establishing, and maintaining effective relationships with potential clients and long-term account opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
  • Meet new and existing clients as necessary, performing demonstrations of products and services that is specifically marketed to meet the client’s business needs and ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan that meets or exceeds established sales goals and supports Company revenue and profitability targets.
  • Attend conferences and professional association meetings and promote TIGA product solutions and brand.
  • Report to the Management team on weekly, monthly and quarterly sales results.
  • Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Own the full business development cycle from pursuit to close; play a key role in providing the basis for robust pursue/non pursue decisions and prospect prioritization, lead the development of well-founded win plans, manage the process of developing high quality proposals and play a key role in getting successful bids to deal closure .


Minimum Requirements: Experience, Educational & Special Training

  • Business degree or higher in Communications, Marketing or Business equivalent. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree/education requirements.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience with Oil and Gas Upstream and Midstream Sectors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook).
  • Must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
  • Self-motivated, seeks to participate in the growth of our company.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload.

Work conditions:

  • Position will primarily work in a typical office environment but is expected to travel.
  • Primary focus of accounts are the Southern Region with some activities in North Dakota and Wyoming.
  • Subject to time pressures and constraints and is also dependent on input from others.
  • Subject to a background check, as well as drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations.
