TIGA is an operational technology systems integrator based in The Woodlands, Lafayette, Dallas, Denver and Williston. We believe that systems integration is a fundamental component to leveraging new and well-established technologies against operational problems that exist within the Upstream, Midstream and Downstream oil and gas sector. Our objective is to be a trusted service provider capable of integrating our clients Control Systems, Industrial Networks, SCADA Systems, Decision Support Systems and integrating the Real-Time and Custody Transfer Data into the Enterprise.

  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Journeyman or Master Electrician with the installation of conduit, tray, wire and electrical equipment.

  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a professional manner with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.

  • Ability to assist in conducting electrical work in accordance with relevant codes, and customer specifications

  • Effectively generate and communicate detailed work records and paperwork

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • 0-4 years in the industrial electrical field.

  • Ability to help fabricate and install conduit, tray, wire and electrical equipment.

  • Maintains an apprentice card showing that he or she is in a apprenticeship for the state of North Dakota.

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and will need to meet the company and company's insurers driving policy requirements.

  • Applicable regulatory safety training is a plus

 

SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of most electrical components commonly found in the oil and gas industry is a plus.

  • Ability to work safely and recognize potential hazards.

  • Competent with the use of tools and equipment as it relates to the electrical trade.

 

PERSONAL RELATION SKILLS:

  • Must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.

  • Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and oral) skills.

  • Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively, take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.

 

EQUIPMENT USED:

  • Multimeter

  • Megger

  • Amp Probe

  • Calibration equipment (Hart, Crystal, Loop calibrators, etc.)

  • Hand-held electrical tools needed to perform his or her job duties.

  • Forklift, Manlift, trencher etc.

 

WORK CONDITIONS:

  • 28x14 or 21x21 Rotation

  • Position will work primarily in the field. Subject to time pressures and constraints and is also dependent on input from others. Need to be fit for duty.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and will need to meet the company's insurers driving policy requirements.

  • Per diem will be compensated to defray expenses associated with traveling, meals and lodging in accordance to applicable law.

  • Subject to a background check, as well as drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations.
