Define and Implement IT Infrastructure strategy, architecture and standards including network, systems and storage, systems management, virtual server technology and cloud computing to ensure effective operations.
Oversee and assist with the implementation, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade and administration of systems, including network infrastructure, firewalls, routers, switches, radios, modems, servers, storage, and databases to achieve availability, performance, and security objectives.
Knowledge of client-server networking and database management.
Ability to provide technical system solutions, determine overall design direction and provide hardware recommendations for complex technical issues.
Experience planning and developing support processes and adhering to best practices.
Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
Experience and/or knowledge of Infrastructure and Security management frameworks such as the Purdue Model, ISA-95, ISA-99.
Minimum Requirements: Experience, Educational & Special Training
Requires Network Infrastructure experience, telecom technician experience a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree/education requirements.
Must have project management experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook).
Must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. Able to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong problem solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multi-task and be willing to learn.
Must be able to take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.
Position will primarily work in a typical office environment but is expected to travel to project sites occasionally. Subject to time pressures and constraints, and is also dependent on input from others.
