Office Assistant (Lafayette)

  • Essential Functions

    • Assist with AR and AP functions.
    • Handle ingoing/outgoing mail.
    • Assist with reporting and schedules (vacation, advance, prepaids).
    • Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner.
    • Monitor level of office supplies and handle shortages.
    • Resolve office-related requests or issues.
    • Perform receptionist duties when needed.
    • Monitor needs around the office and handle accordingly.

     Minimum Requirements

    • Requires an Associate’s degree as a minimum. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook).
    • Must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
    • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
    • Strong problem solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multi-task and be willing to learn.
    • Must be able to take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.
