Job Description:

We are looking for an Angular 2+ Developer for our Enterprise Solutions Software Development Team.  Your primary focus will be developing a full stack application using Angular for the UI and .Net Web API 2 to develop web services on top of existing Weatherford’s CygNet Software SDK’s.  Your main duties will include designing the UX, creating and combining modules, components, directives to develop a functional progressive web application.  A thorough understanding of all components of a HTML5 Progressive Web Application and development of .Net Web API 2 is required. 



  • The successful candidate will have minimum of five (5) years’ experience building and supporting enterprise web applications. 

  • Experience building responsive, dynamic web applications using HTML, CSS, SASS and modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular, Bootstrap, and Typescript

  • Experience with developing RESTful Web Services using C# Web API 2.
  • Experience with configuring IIS and deploying Web Based applications.
  • Experience in all phases of the software development life-cycle.
  • Understanding of full-stack development concepts

Ideally, The Candidate Will Have a Good Understanding/Experience With:


  • Thorough understanding of Weatherfords CygNet SCADA Software, API’s and SDKs.
  • Thorough understanding of Oil and Gas Operations technologies.
  • Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in developing web-based applications
  • Writing non-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi-threading, when needed
  • Responsive web design
  • Angular 2+ / Angular Material Design / Typescript/ RxJS / Javascript
  • Frontend build and package management tools (npm, Gulp, Webpack)
  • Node.js
  • C# .NET Web API 2
  • SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB)
  • Git and GitFlow

Minimum Requirements: Experience, Educational & Special Training

  •  BS in Computer Science (CMPS), Management Information Systems (MIS), Electrical Engineering (EE) or equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree/education requirements.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook).
  • Must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Eight (8) years’ experience building and supporting enterprise web applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multi-task and be willing to learn.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively, take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations and field personnel.
  • Strong leadership experience, technical go to person.
  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple projects.

Work conditions:

  • Position will primarily work in a typical office environment but is expected to travel to project sites occasionally. Subject to time pressures and constraints, and is also dependent on input from others.
