Automation in the oilfield is moving toward implementation of closed loop automation of oil and gas operations. The automated oilfield receives data from numerous instrumented sources, runs the data through algorithms and simulation models, and makes decisions with or without humans in the decision loop. The digital oilfield is transitioning to the automated oilfield. At TIGA this includes, but is not limited to, Programmable Logic Controllers, Human Machine Interface (HMI) Development and Distributed Control Systems.
